Job summary

Construction & Technical Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Christchurch team. You’ll assist with estimating, measuring, cost planning and construction cost management on building projects across the region, with mentoring to develop your technical skills and take on more responsibility as you grow.

This is ideal for someone early in their QS career who asks questions, stays detail focused and enjoys teamwork.

Qualifications

• A relevant quantity surveying qualification and junior or intermediate QS experience.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers.
• Clear communication and a team-focused attitude.
• The initiative to ask questions, take ownership and follow things through.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating, measuring, cost planning and cost management.
• Support exposure to different project stages and client coordination.
• Learn from experienced QS professionals and mentors.
• Contribute as part of a collaborative project team.
