The Opportunity

An established construction business is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Palmerston North.

The project portfolio offers excellent variety and scale, with opportunities to work across projects ranging from smaller builds valued between $1.5M and $5M through to major anchor projects of up to $50M.

This provides the opportunity to broaden your experience, work across different project types and take ownership of projects at varying levels of complexity.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to live regionally while continuing to develop their career. With a strong pipeline of work, the role offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to take ownership of projects from a commercial perspective.

The role would suit a Senior QS who is confident managing the commercial side of projects and is competent in running a job independently, while still having strong support around them.

You will be part of a close-knit and supportive team, with ongoing guidance from the Regional Manager. You will have the autonomy to manage your projects while having experienced leadership available to support you when needed.

There is also a genuine opportunity to progress beyond Senior QS level into senior leadership for the right person.
