Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Senior Relationship Associate for Property Finance in Auckland. The role partners with Relationship Managers to manage a sophisticated property finance portfolio, applying deep industry knowledge and strong credit capability to support customer outcomes and portfolio growth.

You will contribute to market intelligence, provide commercial insight, and identify opportunities to deepen relationships while maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

• Sound experience in property finance or related commercial banking fields.
• Strong credit assessment and financial analysis capability.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and drive strategic customer discussions.

Responsabilités

• Act as a senior portfolio specialist supporting a complex property portfolio.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver growth, retention, and risk outcomes.
• Lead high-quality credit submissions involving complex lending structures.
• Undertake detailed financial modelling and transaction analysis.
• Monitor portfolio risk and covenant performance; identify mitigations.
• Provide market insight and sector intelligence to support business development.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and advisers; coach junior staff.
