Qualifications

• 7+ years IT project management experience delivering medium-to-large, complex projects.
• Insurance or financial services experience is essential.
• Data migration project experience is essential.
• Experience leading teams, stakeholders and project teams.
• Strong knowledge of agile, waterfall and hybrid project methodologies.
• Project budget, financial, vendor and contract management experience.
• Strategic thinker who can solve problems, negotiate and deliver outcomes.
• Strong communicator who can turn technical challenges into business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through the full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and manage scope, budget, resources, risks and timelines aligned to the business case.
• Ensure governance and delivery standards are met with clear reporting of risks, issues and dependencies.
• Keep sponsors, governance groups and executives engaged, informed and supported to make timely decisions.
• Lead Discovery phases, procurement, RFPs and commercial discussions for vendors supporting delivery.
• Work with leaders, employees and vendors to define project requirements and expectations.
• Identify complex risks and lead mitigation planning.
• Manage multiple projects at once.
• Collaborate across project teams, squads and stakeholders to improve outcomes and manage cross-dependencies.
• Maintain strong knowledge of business strategy, goals and technology roadmaps.

This role sits within the Transformation Team and leads project delivery across the Tower portfolio of projects and Agile squad initiatives and leads learning pathways within Tower, developing our people in Project Management practices, enabling project teams to deliver beautifully simple and rewarding experiences, that our people and customers rave about.
