Qualifications
- 7+ years IT project management experience delivering medium-to-large, complex projects.
- Insurance or financial services experience is essential.
- Data migration project experience is essential.
- Experience leading teams, stakeholders and project teams.
- Strong knowledge of agile, waterfall and hybrid project methodologies.
- Project budget, financial, vendor and contract management experience.
- Strategic thinker who can solve problems, negotiate and deliver outcomes.
- Strong communicator who can turn technical challenges into business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams through the full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Develop and manage scope, budget, resources, risks and timelines aligned to the business case.
- Ensure governance and delivery standards are met with clear reporting of risks, issues and dependencies.
- Keep sponsors, governance groups and executives engaged, informed and supported to make timely decisions.
- Lead Discovery phases, procurement, RFPs and commercial discussions for vendors supporting delivery.
- Work with leaders, employees and vendors to define project requirements and expectations.
- Identify complex risks and lead mitigation planning.
- Manage multiple projects at once.
- Collaborate across project teams, squads and stakeholders to improve outcomes and manage cross-dependencies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of business strategy, goals and technology roadmaps.
