Job summary

Tower Insurance Ltd. is offering a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a senior Business Analyst. You will conduct requirements analysis, document current and future state processes, challenge status quo, and lead workshops in an agile setting.

You will mentor junior BAs, collaborate with CXOs, PMs and designers, and translate strategy into actionable analytics and process improvements, using Confluence, Jira, and Miro to enable faster value delivery.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in IT, ideally within insurance.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor junior BAs and own analysis artefacts.
  • Strong collaboration with designers, engineers, QAs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirements analysis, document current/future state processes, and challenge existing methods to drive innovation.
  • Mentor junior BAs and strengthen the BA practice and capability.
  • Work with CXOs, PMs, designers, engineers and QAs to understand strategy, manage backlogs, and run workshops in an agile environment.

Reporting to theBusiness Analysis Practice Lead, yourday-to-day would look like:
  • Conducting and leading requirements analysis, document current/future state processes, challenge existing ways of working, and reimagine processes to drive innovation and industry disruption.
  • Mentoring junior BAs, supporting their performance and wellbeing, owninganalysisartefacts, and contributing to strengthening the overall BA practice and capability.
  • Working closely with CXOs, PMs, designers, engineers, QAs, and other stakeholders to understand strategy and customer needs, manage backlogs, run workshops/refinement sessions, andmaintaincontinuous communication in an agile environment.
  • Applying data insights to inform decisions, understand customerbehavior, andleveragetechnology to enable new capabilities and thereby helping business leaders understandwhat’spossible.

  • Being a trusted advisor, providing clear, conceptdriven business analysis guidance and leading requirements activities that shape highquality, customercentric solutions.
  • Mentoring and uplifting junior BAs, owninganalysisartefacts in your workareaand actively contributing to strengthening the capability, maturity, and reputation of the BA practice.
  • Championing Agile delivery, confidently managing backlogs, supporting squad performance and wellbeing, and helping the team deliver value early through Agile and Lean principles.
  • Translating strategy into action, collaborating closely with POs, PMs, designers, and stakeholders to break down strategic goals, understand customer journeys, and turn insights into clear, actionable work.
  • Harnessing data and technology, using analytics to guide decisionmaking and helping business leaders understand and explore new technology-enabled opportunities.
  • Leading strong engagement and facilitation, running effective workshops,maintainingcontinuous stakeholder collaboration, and sharing yourexpertiseacross BAs, Engineers, and QA to improve alignment and delivery outcomes.
  • Championing the use of AI within Tower’s guardrails to enhance quality of BA deliverables contributing to realised value and benefits
To thrive in this role,you'llneed:
  • A strong customer‑first mindset with a bias for getting things done
  • Significant experiencein Information Technology & IT, ideally within insurance
  • A track recordof driving innovation beyond individual projects
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and technical teams to deliver practical solutions (using tools such as Confluence,Jiraand Miro)
  • Ownership of user stories and requirements, bringing together design, customer experience,copyand technical solutions
  • Strong grounding in business analysis across both Agile and Waterfall, with a passion for championing best practice
  • Ability to break down complex work, deliver value early, and approach problems with curiosity and bold thinking
  • Embracing AI use and being an active member of the thriving AI enablement and adoption community at Tower
