Job summary

Randstad Digital New Zealand is seeking a versatile Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex cloud, data, and integration programs for a major public sector organization. The role centers on advancing a Salesforce evolution, delivering a Single View of Customer, and scaling Salesforce across new business units.

You will work with BAs, Product Owners, and Data/Software SMEs to translate feasibility studies into clear roadmaps, applying Agile, PMP, or Prince2 methods and driving stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on delivery experience with Salesforce ecosystems.
• Extensive background managing Cloud, Data, Integration and CRM project portfolios.
• Practical use of Agile, PMP or Prince2 with business case and feasibility experience.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary delivery pods (SMEs, POs, BAs).
• Strong stakeholder management to align business expectations.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are seeking a versatile Project Manager to manage complex cloud, data, and integration landscapes for a major public organization. This permanent role aims to bring previous contractor knowledge in-house, focusing immediately on a major Salesforce evolution. You will oversee the delivery of a Single View of Customer and roll out Salesforce to new business units, while remaining adaptable to manage diverse enterprise technology roadmaps over time.

Key Duties

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage enterprise digital programs spanning cloud architecture, data workflows, modern CRM, and complex integrations.
• Salesforce Focus: Deliver core Salesforce capabilities, specifically focusing on CRM, Data Cloud (Data 360), and Marketing Cloud.
• Strategic Rollouts: Oversee upcoming workstreams centered around a Single View of Customer, continuous system enhancements, and new business unit deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with BAs, Product Owners, and Data/Software SMEs to translate technical feasibility studies into clear project roadmaps.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Run co-design workshops with senior leadership to build consensus and maintain business alignment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Critical Requirement: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on delivery experience with Salesforce ecosystems is mandatory (ideally across CRM, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud).
• Experienced Professional: Extensive background as a versatile PM managing complex Cloud, Data, Integration, and CRM project portfolios.
• Delivery Methodologies: A practical approach to project methodologies (Agile, PMP, Prince2) paired with experience in business case preparation and technical feasibility evaluation.
• Team Engagement: Demonstrated experience working effectively with multi-disciplinary delivery pods (Software/Data SMEs, POs, BAs).
• Stakeholder Management: Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate and align business expectations.
