Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer based in Warkworth to lead construction supervision and provide engineering expertise across complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work closely with contractors, consultants and operations to ensure safe, high-quality delivery in civil, tunnelling and mechanical/electrical works.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in construction, infrastructure or water engineering (tunnelling/underground civils highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical works in complex infra environments.
• Experience reviewing construction docs and providing constructability input.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on construction supervision across civil, tunnelling, mechanical and electrical works, ensuring safety, quality and delivery.
• Review drawings, programmes, methodologies and designs, offering pragmatic constructability input and risk insights.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and operations teams to resolve issues and keep delivery moving.
• Support project and contract management activities, including contractor submissions, payments, variations and project reporting.
