Job summary

Turner & Townsend Pty Limited in Auckland is looking for a Senior Project Manager for infrastructure delivery. You will lead projects across water-sector initiatives, coordinating design, construction, and commissioning with contractors and consultants to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong experience in water treatment projects, NEC contracts, and effective stakeholder engagement, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on site in NZ.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver construction projects, with water sector experience.
• Technical knowledge of wastewater treatment plants and systems.
• Contract management and NEC contract administration.
• Capable of managing multiple projects across lifecycle stages.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects across varied scopes meeting success criteria.
• Define project scope and assist with business cases and funding.
• Coordinate stakeholders to capture inputs and approvals.
• Manage tender preparation, bid analysis, and contracts.
• Ensure contract terms are followed and payments processed.
• Oversee site activities for safe delivery with consultants.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain quality across design and construction phases.
