Job summary

You will lead technical direction, mentor peers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery and reliability in a fast-paced environment. Wellington-based office role with direct stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps in complex environments.
• Experience with automation and container technologies.
• Strong communication and influencing technical decisions.
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable platform and infrastructure solutions.
• Improve automation across environments and deployment processes.
• Build and support CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident management and service reliability initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver platform outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for tooling, processes, and performance improvements.
