Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work across backend (Java/Python) and frontend (React) projects to ensure seamless deployment and performance.

You should have 3–5 years of DevOps/SRE or cloud engineering experience, with deep AWS knowledge and strong scripting skills. Office-based role in Albany, Auckland with a 2-10:30 PM schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container images.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Write IaC scripts with Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop and troubleshoot DevOps apps (Java, Python, React).
• Implement monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Administer Linux/Windows servers and network configurations.
• Collaborate with backend/frontend teams to ensure smooth deployment.
