Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Platform/DevOps Engineer to design and implement a new Windows Server‑based configuration and deployment solution for its colocated hosting environment. You will hands‑on deploy updates, automate assets, and collaborate with a small development team to improve reliability and security.

Qualifications

Strong hands‑on Windows Server experience and administration.
Experience with configuration management and deployment automation.
PowerShell scripting and general automation skills.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
Understanding of Windows networking and security in on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a configuration management and deployment solution for Windows Server.
Automate the deployment of customer updates, files and assets.
Work across a colocated, predominantly on‑premises hosting environment.
Review deployment processes to improve reliability, consistency and security.
Build automation to reduce manual deployment activity and risk.
Develop scripts and tooling to support repeatable deployments.
Collaborate with developers to understand application and infrastructure needs.
Document the solution and provide guidance for ongoing use and support.
