Job summary

Devoli in Auckland (Hybrid) is building a software platform to transform its telco heritage into a scalable B2B product. The Senior Software Engineer will work on a Go/Python backend and a Next.js/TypeScript frontend alongside AWS, Postgres and MongoDB.

You'll influence architecture, own parts of the platform from CPQ to authentication, and help drive adoption of agentic AI tooling across the development process, mentoring teammates and shaping the platform's direction.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, Next.js, AWS, Postgres and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object orientation and distributed service design.
• Experience building and operating distributed architectures in a B2B software environment.
• Interest in agentic AI tooling and scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve platform components across CPQ, billing and authentication domains.
• Work on a distributed, service-oriented architecture with bounded contexts.
• Contribute to the go-forward stack and deployment on AWS.
• Explore agentic AI capabilities and apply them to development workflows.
