Te Matauru Primary School is seeking a passionate educator to lead our Phase 3 cohort as a Phase Leader (1MU) and to oversee a whānau class. The role requires data-informed practice, collaboration across staff, and a commitment to cultural competence.

We value Te Reo Māori and Te Ao Māori awareness, and you will coordinate EOTC events, engage families, and support inclusive practices within our school community.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating across teams and communities.
• Awareness of neurodiversity and inclusive practices.
• Strong cultural competence and Te Reo Māori knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis (assessment).
• Target review of strategic goals.
• Planning checkpoints and student needs.
• Calendar of event planning.
• Reporting to parents.
• Pastoral lead for the phase level.
• Organisation of relievers.
• Lead EOTC events within the Phase.
