Job summary

Lifewise Housing First in Auckland is seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker who uses lived experience to walk alongside whānau, champion peer practice, and help people move from homelessness to housing stability and wellbeing.

You will mentor and support Peer Support Workers, advocate for whānau using a strengths‑based, person‑led approach, and help strengthen peer support across our service, while ensuring the voice of lived experience informs practice.

Qualifications

• Lived experience is required and should be used professionally.
• Peer Support qualification (Level 4+) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in homelessness, mental health, addictions, or community services.
• Commitment to social justice, whānau wellbeing, and lasting change.
• Values compassion, courage, respect, and integrity.

• Has relevant lived experience and can use it purposefully and professionally.
• Holds a Peer Support qualification (Level 4+) or equivalent experience.
• Has experience in peer support, homelessness, mental health, addictions, or community services.
• Is passionate about social justice, whānau wellbeing, and creating lasting change.
• Values compassion, courage, respect, and integrity.
