Job summary

Winger Motors in Penrose, Auckland, is seeking a Senior Parts Advisor to join its busy Parts team. You will interpret OEM parts, source the right items and provide high-quality support to customers, trade customers and workshop technicians.

With at least 2 years' experience in parts advisory, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple enquiries, and help maintain stock accuracy and margins while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Parts Advisor or similar.
• Strong parts interpretation skills and automotive knowledge.
• Experience using parts catalogues and dealer systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer enquiries by phone and in person.
• Interpret OEM parts using catalogues and dealer systems.
• Identify and source correct parts for a range of vehicles.
• Provide parts support to customers, trade customers and workshop technicians.
• Manage parts orders, invoicing, credits, VORs and backorders.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist with stock accuracy, margins and general Parts department organisation.
• Develop knowledge across vehicle makes, models and parts.

Winger Motors is looking for a Senior Parts Advisor to join its busy Parts team in Penrose.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong automotive parts knowledge who enjoys working with customers, supporting the workshop and making sure the right parts are identified and supplied efficiently.

Working within an established automotive group, you'll be part of a fast-paced Parts operation, handling a variety of enquiries from customers and technicians while providing accurate and reliable parts support.

The role would suit an experienced Parts Advisor or Parts Interpreter who is confident interpreting parts, managing multiple enquiries and delivering a high level of customer service.

The Role

• Providing parts support to customers, trade customers and workshop technicians

• Assisting with stock accuracy, margins and general Parts department organisation
• Continuing to develop your knowledge across a wide range of vehicle makes, models and parts

About You

• At least 2 years' experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Interpreter or similar
• Strong parts interpretation skills and automotive knowledge
• Experience using parts catalogues and dealer systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confidence dealing with customers, technicians and suppliers
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A current Full New Zealand Driver Licence
