Habit Health in Wellington (Petone or Wellington CBD) is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You’ll deliver pain management and concussion rehabilitation, conduct comprehensive assessments, and support clients toward meaningful functional and vocational goals within ACC-funded services.

You’ll work with experienced rehabilitation professionals, provide guidance to less experienced clinicians, and help maintain high-quality clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be Registered with NZ APC.
• Minimum 3 years OT experience.
• Experience in pain management and concussion rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pain management and concussion rehabilitation programmes.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Support clients to achieve functional, social, and vocational goals.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve best outcomes.
• Provide clinical guidance to less experienced clinicians.
• Build relationships with ACC, clients, whānau, employers and stakeholders.

About you

• Registered Occupational Therapist with a current New Zealand APC
• Minimum 3+ years' Occupational Therapy experience
• Previous experience in pain management and concussion rehabilitation is essential
• Strong understanding of ACC rehabilitation contracts and client-centred practice
• Excellent clinical reasoning, report writing, and communication skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Passion for supporting people to achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes
