Job summary

Habit Health in Wellington, NZ, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on vocational rehabilitation. You will help clients overcome barriers to employment, support safe return-to-work outcomes, and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Deliver services across workplace, community, and clinic settings, conduct vocational assessments, and liaise with employers and health providers.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with NZ APC.
• Minimum 2 years' OT experience, vocational rehab desirable.
• Strong understanding of workplace assessments and return-to-work planning.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Full New Zealand driver's licence for community-based rehab.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for rehab and employment goals.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Liaise with employers, ACC, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
• Prepare high-quality reports and clinical documentation
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients
• Manage your caseload using our clinical systems

About You

• Registered Occupational Therapist with a current New Zealand APC
• Previous experience in vocational rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, return-to-work services, or ACC contracts is highly desirable
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong understanding of workplace assessments and return-to-work planning
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Full New Zealand driver's licence for community-based rehabilitation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
