Job summary

Habit Health is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Petone or Wellington CBD. You will lead pain management and concussion rehabilitation programmes while delivering evidence-based interventions.

Aligned with ACC-funded services, you will complete assessments, develop personalised plans, and support clients to achieve meaningful outcomes. The role includes mentoring and collaboration across specialists.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with NZ APC is essential.
• Minimum 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Experience in pain management and concussion rehabilitation is required.
• Strong report writing and client-centred communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pain management and concussion rehabilitation programmes.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Support clients to achieve functional, social, and vocational goals.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Petone or Wellington CBD. You’ll play a key role in supporting clients with complex rehabilitation needs, delivering evidence-based interventions, and contributing to excellent client outcomes across a range of ACC-funded services.

About You

• Registered Occupational Therapist with a current New Zealand APC


• Minimum 3+ years' Occupational Therapy experience


• Previous experience in pain management and concussion rehabilitation is essential


• Strong understanding of ACC rehabilitation contracts and client-centred practice


• Excellent clinical reasoning, report writing, and communication skills


• Strong time management and organisational skills


• Full New Zealand Driver Licence


• Passion for supporting people to achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes
