Job summary

Habit Health in Wellington is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, with a strong focus on vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes. You will work across workplace, community, and clinic settings to help clients overcome barriers to employment.

The role requires at least 2 years of OT experience, NZ APC registration, and a solid grasp of workplace assessments.

Qualifications

• Registered OT with NZ APC.
• Minimum 2 years' OT experience.
• Strong understanding of workplace assessments and return-to-work planning.
• Full New Zealand driver's licence for community-based rehabilitation.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vocational rehabilitation services in workplace, community, and clinic settings.

• Liaise with employers, ACC, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality reports and clinical documentation.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Manage your caseload using our clinical systems.

About you

• Registered Occupational Therapist with a current New Zealand APC
• Previous experience in vocational rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, return-to-work services, or ACC contracts is highly desirable
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong understanding of workplace assessments and return-to-work planning
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Full New Zealand driver's licence for community-based rehabilitation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for helping people achieve their rehabilitation and employment goals
