Job summary

EY in New Zealand is seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Consultant with deep NZ payroll expertise and hands-on SAP SuccessFactors ECP. You will deliver end-to-end payroll implementations, work independently, and provide go-live support from design to hypercare.

Based in Auckland, you will collaborate with payroll, HR, and tech teams, mentor junior consultants, and help ensure NZ compliance and accurate payroll processing across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on NZ payroll experience.
• 4–5 end-to-end NZ payroll implementations.
• At least 2 SAP SuccessFactors ECP projects.
• Experience with payroll testing, cutover and go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end NZ payroll implementations from discovery through go-live.
• Configure SAP SuccessFactors ECP including wage types, schemas, rules, and payroll processing logic and Payroll Control Centre.
• Lead functional payroll design and translate requirements into system configuration and specifications.
• Support EC → ECP data replication and payroll processing flows.
• Provide hands-on post-go-live and hypercare support, resolving payroll issues quickly.
