Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) specialist to join the People Products Team in our SAP Centre of Excellence. You will translate business requirements into practical, sustainable ECP configurations, and drive enhancements behind the scenes to support accurate and efficient payroll operations.

You’ll partner with business stakeholders, challenge requirements when needed, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or similar payroll systems is required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, ask questions and challenge requirements to achieve best outcomes.
• Experience translating business requirements into system configurations, enhancements and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and enhance SAP SuccessFactors ECP to support payroll and legislative needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Implement process improvements to enhance payroll experience for the team and customers.
• Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver long-term solutions.
• Create and maintain clear documentation including specifications and configs.
• Support testing activities including test planning, test case development and defect management.
• Collaborate with payroll and technology teams to ensure system integrity and integrations.
