Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a senior specialist to shape its Technology and Digital Risk capability. You’ll form an independent Line 2 view, help the bank safely adopt new tech, and maintain governance, resilience and customer outcomes across technology, cyber, data, AI and digital risk.

You’ll partner with Technology, Cyber, Privacy, Compliance and Enterprise Risk to provide forward-looking risk insight, challenge material exposures, and influence decisions at executive and Board level.

Qualifications

• Proven track record across technology risk, cyber risk, data risk, operational risk, or related disciplines.
• Experience forming independent risk views across interconnected domains.
• Ability to translate complex risk into actionable insights for executives and the board.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight across technology, cyber, data, AI, resilience and third‑party risk.
• Provide evidence-based challenge to risk profiles, controls and remediation plans.
• Support governance, reporting and decision making for leaders and the board.
