Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking an experienced Lead - Technology Risk to establish and continuously improve the enterprise technology risk management capability. You will drive governance, reporting, and oversight to safeguard technology outcomes and strengthen organisational resilience across Digital IT.

You will lead a team of two Risk Specialists and work with risk owners, security professionals, and delivery teams to embed proactive risk culture and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technology risk management within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven ability to develop and implement risk management frameworks, governance processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Kāinga Ora's technology risk management framework.
• Provide oversight of technology risks across Digital IT including cybersecurity, operational resilience and data governance.
• Lead a small team of two Risk Specialists and collaborate with senior leaders and delivery teams to drive risk culture.
