Job summary

Auckland University of Technology is seeking a Senior Learning Designer to join the Organisational Development team on a permanent, full-time basis on campus. You will design eLearning for mandatory modules and Aronui Ora, using authoring tools and working with subject matter experts.

You will plan, design and deliver authentic blended learning experiences, build staff capability in digital technologies, and contribute to a culture of evidence-based pedagogy and Te Tiriti-aligned practice.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, designing and developing learning using evidence-based pedagogy and design methods for various environments.
• Plan, design and develop learning activities, quizzes and resources.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and online content management.

Responsibilities

• Design eLearning for Required Learning Modules and Aronui Ora programme.
• Lead and manage multiple work strands and projects.
• Create learning activities and quizzes using Canvas, Storyline and Adobe.
• Build staff capability in digital technologies and eLearning.
