Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the Transformation team in Auckland. You will partner with operational delivery units and leaders to improve processes, drive measurable outcomes, and coach others in lean and CI practices.

This role requires resilience, autonomy and collaboration across teams, with travel within New Zealand and varying shifts as required. Based at Auckland Airport Campus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience applying and coaching LSS methodologies.
• Deep Lean Six Sigma (LSS) skills with formal certification.
• Proficiency in modelling and statistical techniques.
• Delivery of measurable improvement outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements.
• Exposure to operations, process, and technology improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross functional initiatives.
• Identify and reduce waste, variation and inefficiencies.
• Develop and enable improvement roadmaps.
• Lead measurable improvement outcomes through hands-on delivery.
• Contribute to digital and automation-enabled improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor to build CI capability across the organisation.
