Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Support professional in New Zealand to provide day-to-day technical assistance and solve hardware, software, and network issues.

The role involves supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices while maintaining AD accounts and basic security configurations. You will work with Sophos products, assist with firewall administration, and liaise with vendors for equipment purchases.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous IT support / helpdesk experience is advantageous.
• Basic experience with Active Directory, networking, firewalls, and Windows environments.
• Experience with Sophos products would be an advantage.
• Certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other office IT equipment.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting including LAN, Wi‑Fi, IP addressing, connectivity, switches, and related issues.
• Assist with Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage basic Active Directory functions (creating/disabling accounts, password resets, permissions, domain additions).
• Install and maintain printers and network printers; coordinate with external vendors for purchases.
• Onboard/offboard employees from an IT perspective and maintain IT documentation.
