Job summary

EIL Global is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for an on-site role in Dunedin, New Zealand. You will handle hardware and software issues, perform Windows OS deployments, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networking while delivering strong customer service.

The role focuses on end-user computing across enterprise clients, with opportunities to work across IT infrastructure projects in a dynamic APAC/EMEA setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT support, desktop support or field services.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, routers and switches.
• Experience with OS deployment and imaging.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Install, upgrade and image Windows OS as required.
• Triage and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting in LAN/WAN environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
