Bathurst Resources Limited is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Mining Engineer to join its Resource Development team in a project-focused role. You will develop long-term mine plans, assess feasibility studies, and support resource development across NZ and Canada, collaborating with specialists and stakeholders to maximise value from the asset base.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Experience in opencast mining environments.
• Experience in long-term mine planning, mine design and project development.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term and life-of-mine plans and strategic designs.
• Undertake conceptual to feasibility study work for development projects.
• Evaluate improvement initiatives and optimisations across Bathurst's operations.
• Provide technical engineering advice for new and existing projects.
