Formación

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology.
• Significant experience in geotechnical engineering within mining, quarrying, or civil infrastructure.
• Experience undertaking slope stability assessments, geotechnical investigations and risk management.
• Strong technical reporting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Actively champion health, safety, environmental compliance and risk management in geotechnical engineering and operations.
• Provide geotechnical advice to operational, project and leadership teams across Bathurst's activities.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations, inspections and assessments of slopes, embankments and rehabilitation areas.
• Perform slope stability assessments, geotechnical modelling and engineering analysis for mine planning.
• Develop and review geotechnical designs and risk management plans.
• Monitor geotechnical data and recommend mitigation measures; inspect mine sites for risks.
• Support mine closure and rehabilitation activities through design guidance and stability planning.
• Manage external consultants and review outputs to meet Bathurst standards.
