Bathurst Resources Limited in New Zealand seeks an experienced Intermediate to Senior Mining Engineer to join the Resource Development team. The role focuses on long-term asset development, feasibility studies and life-of-mine planning to maximise value from Bathurst's operations.

You will work on projects across the Buller Plateau and Waikato operations, collaborating with specialists to turn geological, operational and economic data into practical engineering solutions and sustainable mine

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering required.
• Experience in opencast mining environments preferred.
• Strong skills in long-term mine planning and mine design.
• Ability to convert data into practical engineering solutions and reports.

Aufgaben

• Develop long-term and life-of-mine plans, schedules and strategic mine designs for existing and future operations.
• Undertake conceptual, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to support resource development.
• Investigate and evaluate business improvement and optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare mine designs, production schedules, cost estimates and development scenarios for investment decisions.
• Provide technical advice and support for mining projects and future developments.
• Analyze geological, operational, environmental and economic data to inform recommendations.
• Support permitting, regulatory approvals and technical reporting as required.
• Collaborate with environmental, operational and commercial teams to optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage and review external consultant work and technical studies.
