Fluid Recruitment Limited is partnering with a forward-thinking, high-performing team in Wellington CBD to hire an Intermediate - Senior BAS Accountant. The role requires 2+ years of NZ accounting experience and a pathway toward CA qualification.

You will manage a diverse client portfolio, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and deliver tailored business advisory services. Responsibilities include GST, FBT, PAYE, IRD returns, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in New Zealand.
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.
• NZ accounting experience required; CA progression preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse client portfolio including financial statements, GST, FBT, PAYE, and IRD returns.
• Provide business advisory services and budgeting/cash flow forecasting.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
