Job summary

SCI Recruitment is representing a well‑established CA firm in a prime Central Auckland location. This role suits an Intermediate or Senior BAS Accountant seeking advisory exposure, structured progression and a supportive, people‑first culture.

You will work with 1–6+ years NZ BAS experience, handling diverse client needs, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance, with mentoring and clear progression to Manager and beyond.

Qualifications

• 1–6+ years BAS experience; NZ CA BAS experience is a must.
• Current NZ CA BAS experience essential for the role.
• CA/CPA qualification pathway or completed status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BAS compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting for clients.
• Provide client contact and support with a proactive, advisory mindset.
