Job summary

EY is seeking a BAS Intermediate/Senior Accountant in Auckland. You will join a collaborative team delivering financial reporting, compliance and advisory services across a diverse client portfolio.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand objectives and provide practical accounting and business insights while developing junior team members. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Business Advisory or similar, with a degree in Accounting or Commerce, and CA ANZ or CPA membership (or working

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in Business Advisory or similar accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce.
• CA ANZ or CPA membership (or actively working toward).
• Proficiency with accounting and reporting tools such as Xero, MYOB, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and compliance deliverables for a diverse portfolio of businesses.
• Prepare tax compliance work (income tax, GST, PAYE, FBT).
• Partner with clients to understand commercial objectives and provide accounting insights.
• Support, coach and develop junior team members and foster a collaborative culture.
