Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Performance Analyst to monitor, evaluate, and improve industrial operations through data-driven insights. The role is remote and involves collaborating with site teams to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost across multiple sites in a NZ context.

You will build dashboards, analyze complex data, develop KPIs, and forecast performance using statistics and modeling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Data Science.
• 5+ years in performance analysis or data analytics in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and BI tools; KPI development experience.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and data-driven Senior Industrial Performance Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on monitoring, evaluating, and improving the performance of industrial operations through in-depth data analysis. Based remotely, you will work closely with operational teams across different sites to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), develop analytical models, and provide actionable insights to drive efficiency and cost savings. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports for industrial operations.
• Analyze complex operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of performance issues.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate virtually with site-level management and operational teams to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Propose data-driven recommendations for optimizing resource allocation, production schedules, and workflow.
• Utilize statistical analysis and modeling techniques to forecast performance and identify potential risks.
• Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in performance analysis tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in performance analysis, industrial engineering, or a data analysis role within an industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including advanced Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing KPIs and performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong virtual communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
• Understanding of industrial operations and manufacturing processes.
