Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the DWSS Identity Governance and Administration team. The role is based in central Auckland or Wellington and offers flexible working with on-call duties, and hands-on engineering across IGA platforms to keep access secure, auditable and well-governed.

You will partner with the Lead Engineer and Product Lead to design, implement and operate identity governance capabilities, automate access workflows, and support the growth of security

Qualifications

• Experience in identity governance and administration in a large/complex environment.
• Hands-on design, implementation and operation of IGA capabilities.
• Automation, APIs, Git and infrastructure-as-code tooling experience.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via SCIM, REST APIs and LDAP.
• Agile or DevOps collaboration across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build identity platforms that protect Kiwibank and Kiwi.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineer and Product Lead to deliver IGA work.
• Mentor teammates and improve engineering delivery.
• Automate access processes to scale IGA services.
• Support governance, risk, and security requirements in delivery.
