Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking an Engineer, Development to drive modern platform engineering and CI/CD initiatives across multiple NZ locations. You will own features end-to-end, apply design patterns and cloud principles, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Experience with developer platforms and software delivery tooling.
• Design and support CI/CD platforms with security, quality and compliance in delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform automation (Terraform).
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support for platform reliability and developer productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own small to medium features from technical design through to completion.
• Deliver steady progress and evidence-based decisions with the team.
• Use design patterns, CI/CD practices, and cloud/weather principles to build and improve software.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, security, designers and user researchers to create robust prototypes.
