Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Auckland is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to lead ICT design for buildings and infrastructure. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver digital backbone solutions and drive innovative designs for local and international projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, apply BIM and industry standards, ensure high-quality reports and specs, and engage clients to understand needs. A degree in engineering and 5+ years ICT experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with 5+ years’ ICT design experience for buildings/infrastructure.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and industry standards.
• Certifications: RCDD, PSP, CCNA, CCNP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT design and delivery across multi-disciplinary projects.
• Engage with clients and end users to co-create solutions.
• Produce high-quality specifications, reports, schematics and solution briefs.
• Design and manage systems including: Structured Cabling & Telecoms Distribution; Data Networks & Wireless LAN; CCTV, Access Control & Surveillance; Audio-Visual & Public Address Systems; Control Systems – BMS, SCADA; Information & Cyber Security.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
