Beca is expanding its Building Technologies capabilities in Auckland and seeks an intermediate ICT and Security engineer. You will work on diverse projects, delivering building technology solutions from design through delivery, liaising with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ICT and electronic security into smart, connected buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT/building technologies or electronic security in a consulting environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification related to building technologies or ICT.
• Ability to design and deliver ICT and electronic security systems such as cabling, networks, access control, CCTV.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver ICT and electronic security systems including cabling, fibre networks, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Prepare design documentation—drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage project delivery through coordination, site visits, and on-site technical support during construction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate building technologies into project outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and contribute to project success.
