Job summary

First Focus is seeking a Senior HubSpot Technical Specialist to own and optimize our HubSpot platform across New Zealand, Australia, and the US. You’ll configure data models, build integrations, and drive migration efforts while ensuring accurate, consent-aware attribution and reliable reporting.

You’ll collaborate with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and IT to turn business ideas into scalable, robust technical solutions, reducing manual work and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on HubSpot administration and technical implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of HubSpot data models, workflows, permissions and reporting.
• Experience delivering HubSpot migrations or complex CRM implementations.
• Practical experience integrating systems using APIs, webhooks and middleware.
• Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and consent-aware attribution.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for integrations, automation and synchronisation issues.

Responsibilities

• Configuring HubSpot data models, custom objects, fields, pipelines and permissions.
• Aligning Australian and US configurations and data, delivering a controlled migration into the US instance.
• Designing and delivering a controlled migration into our US HubSpot instance.
• Building and maintaining integrations using APIs, webhooks and native connectors.
• Improving workflows and automation that remove repetitive manual work.
• Working with website and digital marketing teams to implement consent-aware tracking and attribution.
• Maintaining trusted reporting for MRR, ARR, TCV, regions, currencies and commercial performance.
• Testing changes thoroughly, planning rollbacks and documenting configurations properly.
• Supporting internal knowledge sharing, contractor handovers and practical training.
