Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking a Senior Housing Support Manager based in Northcote. You will support customers with complex housing and wellbeing needs, mentor fellow managers, and collaborate with iwi, government agencies, and providers to achieve positive outcomes and strengthen communities.

You will work across teams to ensure timely, appropriate support while travel within the local area is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with customers who have complex housing, social, health, or wellbeing needs.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers, whānau, and external agencies.
• Strong written communication and case management skills, with cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and whānau with complex housing and wellbeing needs.
• Mentor Housing Support Managers and build team capability.
• Travel throughout the local area to support customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, iwi, government agencies and providers to ensure the right support.
• Ensure customers receive the right support at the right time.
