Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is seeking a Housing Support Manager in the Mangere area of Auckland to work directly with customers and their whānau, ensuring housing and wellbeing needs are met and adapted over time. The role involves travel across the region and handling rent arrears, with a focus on compassionate, culturally aware support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in applying the Residential Tenancy Act.
• Natural relationship-builder, able to relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Build enriching and enduring relationships with customers and whānau to meet housing and wellbeing needs.
• Support low and medium needs customers and manage rent arrears and debt recovery.
• Visit Kāinga Ora homes and attend meetings with stakeholders to keep services in place.
