Job summary

CMW Geosciences in Hamilton is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join Waikato's largest geotechnical team. You will be involved in site investigations, design input and technical advisory across diverse projects in land development, energy, transport and infrastructure.

The role emphasises project delivery, client liaison and constructive collaboration in a true consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree.
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultancy setting.
• Experience managing large scale land developments will be looked on favourably.
• Full New Zealand working rights.
• Great interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site investigations, provide design input and technical advice.
• Oversee construction support and client liaison across projects.
• Contribute to a diverse range of projects including land development, energy and transport.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
