Job summary

NPAworldwide is representing opportunities for Geotechnical Engineers from Intermediate to Senior level across Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua. The roles include a range of geotechnical projects within Waikato and the Bay of Plenty, offering progression and greater project responsibility.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree and 4+ years of experience, with NZ ground conditions knowledge and exposure to PLAXIS, RocScience or GeoStudio considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree is required.
• 4+ years geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in investigations, analysis and design of geotechnical projects.
• Good understanding of NZ ground conditions and standards.

Depending On Your Experience, Your Work Could Include

• Geotechnical investigations and ground assessments

What Were Looking For

• Relevant qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Ideally 4+ years geotechnical engineering experience
• Experience in geotechnical investigations, analysis and design
• Good understanding of New Zealand ground conditions and engineering standards
• Experience with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, Rocscience or GeoStudio would be advantageous
• Strong technical reporting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and client-facing skills

New Zealand consulting experience would be advantageous, although were interested in hearing from engineers with relevant international experience.

CPEng or progress towards chartership would be beneficial for senior opportunities.
