Job summary

BTW is seeking a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead investigations, design and advisory work in New Zealand. You will mentor junior engineers, manage projects from initiation to completion, and develop strong client relationships across our Taupo and wider North Island offices.

The role requires a chartered CMEngNZ/CPEng or PEngGeol, 8+ years of NZ consulting experience, and a proven track record in soil and rock mechanics, leadership, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires chartered engineer status or near-term chartership.
• 8+ years of NZ geotechnical consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics and geotechnical design.
