Job summary

NPAworldwide is representing opportunities for Geotechnical Engineers from Intermediate to Senior level across Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua. The roles include a range of geotechnical projects within Waikato and the Bay of Plenty, offering progression and greater project responsibility.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree and 4+ years of experience, with NZ ground conditions knowledge and exposure to PLAXIS, RocScience or GeoStudio considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree is required.
• 4+ years geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in investigations, analysis and design of geotechnical projects.
• Good understanding of NZ ground conditions and standards.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical investigations and ground assessments.
• Foundation design and recommendations.
• Slope stability assessments and remedial design.
• Retaining wall design.
• Ground improvement and earthworks.
• Residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
• Geotechnical reporting and technical assessments.
• Construction monitoring and site inspections.
• Project management and client liaison.
• Mentoring junior engineers for senior opportunities.
