Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist to design and maintain modern SOE architectures for multiple customers. You will enable cloud-first productivity with solutions like AVD, Intune, and SCCM MECM, while delivering 3rd-level support and guiding the team.

You’ll work with customers to standardise support across environments, drive process improvements, and help shape the digital transformation journey in a NZ context, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of endpoint engineering and SOE management experience.
• Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes and lifecycles.
• Advanced end-user management skills with modern and traditional SOE methodologies.
• Experience in AVD, Cloud PC, Intune, SCCM / MECM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver aligned to goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or related discipline.
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining modern SOE architectures for multiple customers.
• Working with customers to deliver cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions.
• Developing processes to standardise support and maintenance across environments.
• Providing 3rd-level support and acting as escalation point for complex desktop issues.
• Proactively managing and maintaining customer SOEs and supporting infrastructure.
• Delivering project tasks accurately and efficiently and contributing to project reporting.
• Guiding and mentoring team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensuring a health and safety culture in line with Datacom policies.
