Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist to lead design and maintenance of robust SOE architectures for multiple customers, enabling cloud-first productivity and collaboration. You will deliver 3rd-level support, standardise processes, and drive continuous improvement across environments.

You will collaborate with customers to transform their IT landscapes, mentor teammates, and ensure safety and policy compliance while contributing to project reporting and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience in endpoint engineering and SOE management.
Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycles.
Advanced end-user management skills alongside modern and traditional SOE methodologies.
Experience in AVD, Cloud PC, Intune, SCCM / MECM.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions in line with organisational goals.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology, or related discipline.
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification

About the Role (your why)

Our Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for creating and maintaining robust desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for our customers, enabling remote support and ensuring standardisation across diverse IT landscapes. As a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist, you’ll work closely with customers to transform their businesses in line with cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions as part of their digital transformation journey. You will also provide expert 3rd-level support, develop ongoing processes, and help drive continuous improvement in customer environments.

What you’ll do

At the moment, as Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist you will be focused on:

What you’ll bring

Required experience:

5+ years of related experience in endpoint engineering and SOE management
Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycles
