Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist in New Zealand to design and maintain modern SOE architectures, enabling remote support and cloud-first productivity across customer environments. You will deliver 3rd-level support and drive standardisation across diverse IT landscapes.

The role requires 5+ years in endpoint engineering, hands-on experience with AVD, Cloud PC, Intune, SCCM/MECM, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of endpoint engineering and SOE management experience.
• Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes and product lifecycles.
• Advanced end-user management and SOE methodologies.
• Experience with AVD, Cloud PC, Intune, SCCM/MECM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain modern SOE architectures for multiple customers.
• Deliver cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions.
• Develop processes to standardise support and maintenance across environments.
• Provide 3rd-level support and act as escalation point for desktop issues.
• Proactively manage and maintain customer SOEs and supporting infrastructure.
• Deliver project tasks accurately and contribute to project reporting.
• Mentor team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure health and safety culture in line with Datacom policies.
