Job summary

Ampstek is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst in Auckland, NZ, with 8+ years' experience focused on Power BI and enterprise reporting. The role balances 70% reporting and 30% data engineering, with strong SQL, DAX, and data modeling requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query and SQL.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex dashboards, reports and BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and reporting/analytics requirements.
• Good data engineering experience, particularly with Snowflake and dbt.
• Comfortable working across data pipelines, transformations, data quality and reporting datasets.
• Able to work closely with business stakeholders and translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• 70% Reporting / Power BI and 30% Data Engineering focus.
• Telco experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates should be able to work independently and engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
